In December the American Marketing Association San Francisco partnered with Public Relations Society of America San Francisco to throw “Jingle, Mix & Mingle,” a colorful event held at art-themed bar/gallery, Dada Bar at the heart of the Financial District.
In this fun-filled gathering, the Bay Area PR and Marketing worlds collided for a night filled with toasts, good wishes, and great fun—and celebrated a year that was full of challenges and successes.
Dada Bar was a fitting venue to host such creative minds with its unique décor, composed of pop-culture pieces created entirely by local artists. It suited the crowd that, by the way, was larger than the year before. How larger, you ask? Almost 60% more tickets were sold compared to 2017—and believe me, it was that much more fun.
The Jingle, Mix & Mingle party had a bit of everything: Great cocktails to select from, a delectable selection of Dim Sum appetizers, a photo booth with all sorts of comical props, a silent auction benefiting the Tenderloin After-School Program, a toy drive for the San Francisco Firefighters Toy Program, and many interesting people to interact with. And as a special holiday treat, Tony Wessling was giving away signed copies of his book, “The Powers” to all of our guests.
It was great to see some new faces mingling with the not-so-new faces, but all with a big smile. Usually, the AMA events are designed to bring learning, and career-building opportunities, but this time was more about having fun and celebrating together than anything else—with still a lot of network opportunities, of course.
Check out some of the great shots taken at the party by sponsor and photographer extraordinaire, Kathryn MacDonald. Kathryn does an incredible job of capturing the spirit of our events.
If you were there, I would love to hear what you think about it. And if you missed it, well, I am sorry. Make sure you are in the know by signing up to our newsletter and coming to all the fabulous events that AMA SF has for you beginning with our Career Fair on January 31.
