Eric has been an AMA SF member since 2010. His vision for a successful AMA SF is to bring together technology, knowledge and thought leadership to help others in the marketing community succeed. He wholeheartedly believes his fellow members and the AMA SF’s resources have helped him stay informed and connected to the overall practice of great marketing. For over two decades, Gerardo Garcia-Jurado has been part of the so-called “creatives.” He built his own first job by starting his visual communications firm in Mexico City. Seven years later, his American adventure began when he moved to New York City. Gerardo has been a key player in the development of award-winning campaigns for global brands. From advertising to promotions to retail marketing; from Effies to Emmys; and from NYC to DEN to SFO, his professional life has been filled with exciting projects, all of which have left significant learnings that have made him the well-rounded marketing professional he is today. In his current role, Thomas leads the integrated media team to drive strategy and media activation for his clients. Thomas brings a decade of experience working with Fortune 500 clientele across the agency, publisher and technology sides of the digital business in roles that include media, sales engineer and product marketing. Thomas has worked with a diverse clientele such as: Capital Group, Logitech, Workday, Puerto Rico Tourism Company, Hotwire, Microsoft, and many others. Janet Lautenberger, a native of the Bay Area, works as an Account Manager for MNI Targeted Media and partners with brands and agencies based in Northern California.Throughout her career in San Francisco and New York, she has been fortunate enough to represent some of the greatest media brands in the country in print, broadcast, and digital. In her spare time Janet is a competitive tennis player, loves to travel and sits on the board of Adelante, a non-profit working to end poverty in Honduras. > LinkedIn

Khushi is experienced in paid media, demand generation, and digital marketing. With her natural proficiency in communication and strategic thinking along with a degree in Marketing and Psychology she brings a unique blend of creativity and consumer understanding to every project. Khushi additionally supported the beginning development of the Externship Academy, a program connecting enthusiastic young marketers with small businesses in need and continuous to do so while serving on the AMA SF Board. Elizabeth is a marketer based out of the San Francisco Bay Area. She works in the technology industry running several marketing programs including webinars, podcasts, events, digital and social media. Over the years, Elizabeth has supported several small businesses including non-profits, CPGs, e-commerce, finance, and other organizations by launching their diverse marketing strategies with limited budgets and resources. Outside of work, Elizabeth started an externship program to support the next generation of young marketers and small businesses in the Bay Area, and serves on the Board of Directors of the American Marketing Association of San Francisco. Irene Sanchez is Sr. Director of Marketing and Creative for community-powered entertainment destination, Imgur, where she and her team help brands build cultural credibility and connection with consumers. Throughout her career she has focused on driving revenue growth and developing strategic initiatives, from branded content to events, that strengthen awareness for her clients. Irene’s media roots began at the SF Chronicle and grew at AOL and Yahoo! where she held positions in advertising strategy and product marketing for their entertainment and lifestyles portfolio. Frederick T. Wehrle is an innovative academic leader and educator applying insights from business and science to advance Higher and Continuing Education. As Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at the University of California, Berkeley Extension, Frederick oversees curriculum innovation, student success, and campus collaboration initiatives. He lectures courses in marketing strategy, product management, and go-to-market strategy. His research explores consumer behavior through the lens of behavioral ecology and evolutionary biology. Throughout his career, Frederick has served as advisor and mentor to startups, non-profit organizations and partner universities, providing support for Generative AI implementation, organizational design, globalization strategies, product management and go-to-market strategy, curriculum design, and Student Journey and Experience design. > LinkedIn
Sukriti has been helping corporates to traverse the global marketplace, igniting business growth by leveraging technology for digital marketing strategies. Currently, she is instrumental in driving awareness and engagement within the tech industry, focusing on expanding developer education and training through webinars and events. Previously, at a SAP Partner, she spearheaded digital marketing initiatives across North America, UAE, and India. At AMA, Sukriti champions strategies and execution of events and communications. Chris is an accomplished brand and marketing creative leader with over 20 years of experience defining consumer marketing strategy, creative direction, and brand value for Fortune 500 companies and SMBs. He elevates brand positioning and awareness with data-driven consumer and market insights to develop winning cross-channel campaigns, such as Safeway’s “Chalk” campaign, which drove sales to the highest levels in a decade. Originally a creative director for video and broadcast advertising, Chris broadened his expertise to encompass full 360 brand marketing. In his last role leading marketing for military credit union SeaWest, Chris increased awareness among the target market from 15% to over 90% with a mix of direct mail, digital and social marketing, PR, and events.
